When it comes to outputs this is easy! The spreadsheet can be displayed on the monitor sothat staff can see what sales are being made etc. Graphs can be seen showing stock changes. This will mean staff can see if there are any problems that could occur during opening hours. At the end of the day or the week they may decide to have a meeting to discuss profit and sales so you can print out tables and graphs. Or they could be emailed to colleagues.

Students should explain about the sort of printer they might need ... a colour printer producing colourful graphs is going to be better than a black and white printer. Students can go into more depth and talking about the relative merits of an inkjet or colour laser printer.
